This year we bought 10-packs of tickets since it's easier to get out and about with our little fan. We've taken the sweet girl to quite a few games, and we've also enjoyed one by ourselves! She enjoys being at the games, but it does make it difficult to actually pay attention to the game. She loves the "in between inning" festivities like the dot race, Take Me Out to the Ballgame, the Cotton-Eye Joe and all the other fun things. Oh, and she loves the food, just like her Mama. Hot dogs and nachos and cotton candy...what more does a girl need?!
Not sure why the tongue is hanging out, but even in this Texas heat, she sure was having fun!

Last month I caught Sneaky McSneakerson in her Cheerios. And of course, as soon as she saw me, she shoved as many in her mouth as possible... What a stinker.
The weekend after Mother's Day, we made the hike to NZ to visit Grandma & Grandpa and the rest of the crew. Ralph's company was participating in a Relay for Life softball tournament, so you-know-who was immediately recruited to play!
I (for once in my life) didn't feel like lugging my camera around for the day, so I just snapped a few on my little camera...
Hmmm. Which one do I want? Being silly with Uncle Mark And Grandma The rest of the weekend was spent outside (in the dirt) enjoying time with the family! Whoa, Katherine!! Love these girls so much! <3 And she even brought me the leash Sunday morning asking to "take Zoe on a walk?" :)
That's it! Another quick but fun weekend in the country!
Backtracking a bit to Mother's Day... This year we made the trip down to see Mom & Mike. We were expecting to see Andrea, Bubba & Lana, but we were pleasantly surprised to also see Aunt Becky, Aunt Chris and Mamu! Mom fried up some delicious fish and hush puppies and topped it off with homemade cobbler and ice cream.

As we're eating dinner this week... M: "I like (something that sounded like) boys." [Anthony & I looked at each other with eyes widened] Anthony: "You like what?" M: "I like (something that sounded like) boys." Anthony: "Um, you like butter?" M: "Yep." [Both of us laughing] "Okay, good."
I've been having cold/sinus issues for a week or so, and every time I cough:"Gooness, Mommy."
When we tell her it's time to go to bed: "No, I watch beeseball!!"
While sitting on her potty: "I'm gonna need a book."
Sometimes when crying during a fit and we ask her what's the matter, she responds, "I'm just crying." Oh, I love this kid.
This past Sunday morning I asked her what she wanted for breakfast (thinking we'd do pancakes or something fun). Her answer? Corn. When we were done with breakfast (we had pancakes), she asked "Can I have ice cream, please?" I can do without corn for breakfast, but clearly, she's got some good ideas in there... ;)
Her pronunciation and ability to put together complete sentences has increased tenfold over the past few weeks. She says her r's now, and while there are still times we have no idea what she's saying (usually when she's really excited and talking really fast), we can carry on conversations and really understand what she is talking about nowadays. It's really helpful now when she gets upset of frustrated for her to be able to tell us exactly what's wrong or what she needs. This is such a fun age!
(and this was after she threw a huge fit because she could not have ice cream before her dinner)
Well, hello there. Long time, no post. Things have been busy in our household the last few months and I am way behind on editing and posting pictures.
I do have an exciting picture and update for now, though. Last night, our "baby" girl slept in her big girl bed for the first time! She only woke up once in the middle of the night and yelled for Mama, but after tucking her in again and putting all of her babies back in place, she was fine.
I might jinx the big move by posting it right now, but, it does look like our girl is not listening to us and is growing up anyway. Although she's growing up way too fast, she still looks so tiny in that huge twin bed! :)
And yes, that's one of her favorite pillowcases - The Little Mermaid - that she had in her crib. And yes again. It is a hand me down from her Mama. :)
