The kiddo is putting her words together now and has two new phrases. She started saying "Oh, no!" at the beginning of this month. Now we hear it all. the. time. My favorite is when she's in her high chair eating dinner. She'll stare us right in the eye and then slowly move her arm out to the side and drop her fork on the floor. Then comes the raised eyebrows and surprised, "Oh, no!" Right, you little toot.
She's also started talking more to her new best friend, Zoe. All we heard this past weekend was "Zo zo, hi!" It's quite possibly the cutest thing, ever (along with everything else she does). :)
She's also started saying two syllable words (with different syllables) like hello, Lolly (my Mom's "grandma name") and Zoe!
She's actually a very shy little girl when she meets new people, but once she warms up to someone, she'll talk their head off. These videos are from mid-August @ 16 months. This kid cracks me up! These are long, but I think they're worth watching. ;)
